Experience.. you don't need anything else.. you could start racing a stock quad if you wanted to.

Maybe an aftermarket swingarm and rear shock if it's still stock.. those swingers are known to cause problems.

what size are the tires? I assume mx tires...if not, they help alot.

some like steering stabilizers.

you dont have to have a $60,000 quad to race man. lol

But it sure does help!

Frame color and plastics very important. I suggest lime green frame with black plastics and monster stickers everywhere. you will win A class everytime with that setup.

Adding race graphics is a guaranteed +5 HP.

Drain all the fluids out of it. The lighter the better. You and your neighbor buddy could sabotage each others quads before racing. Now doesn't that sound like fun?

Do not forget the pink power band that attaches to the front left brake caliper

slashing tire can get you caught, get creative.

to set all the bs aside. you can take a paper towel, tear a strip of it off soak it down with water. then remove his spark plug boot install the paper towel and reinstall sparkplug boot. the quad will run like normal until it warms up and dries the paper towel, then it will loose spark and quit. if you dont tell him what you done he will be out for a moto.

mess with his suspension settings..that'll throw em off...But also you get better air flow when you polish the inside of your pipe. FMF you said? They arent great but once polished and the packing taken out they flow really well btw. have it that way on my 4t's and 2 smokers.

turn the throttle screw to where he can only give it 1/4 of gas, that always works :D
