If I ride with my valves out of adjustment? I think they need adjusting, but I am going riding in the morning - just curious what I'm risking??

I don't think one days ride will hurt it just don't rev it to the moon all day and adjust them before your next ride..

I rode with mine too tight. I burned 'em up, and welded my rings to my piston. No compression, and a top end rebuild.

Yup its def. better to be a little loose than tight. But i would just readjust them before you go riding anyway. Rebuilds get quite expensive.

I had mine adjusted today and I swear when I got it back they were still ticking. I don't know what's up I watched our mechanic check them many times and adjust. Maybe something else is making noise. I will just wait to see if it gets louder...
