Valve Clearance ??? [Archive]

I've got Mickey Dunlap's true 11:1 Wiseco 440 kit and the piston is damnnear at 0 deck height. Do I need to check for valve-to-piston clearance? I meant to ask him when I ordered it, But now I can't get in touch with him. THANKS

I haven't rebuilt a quad motor yet, but to be safe I would check just to be sure.
You may have to wait until after the weekend to get ahold of Mr. Dunlap. I'd ask him before following advice from anyone else unless you really trust that person;)
