Lots on here run the Tusk kit with HD springs with good results. If you want to spend the extra $$ on an 8 plate kit go with the GT Thunder kit. Very worth the money.

Now if I do get a clutch kit, what are all the parts I'm gonna need?

Basically what you get with the kit are the fiber and steel plates. SOme kits come with heavy duty springs, others like the 8 plate kit comes with fibers, steels, springs and usually a machined pressure plate so you can fit the 8 plate set in.

I run the GT Thunder 8 plate set, got it on ebay from GTT (well they use the name "quadarts" lol not GTT) and Im super happy.

If your not lookin to spend much the tusk kit is the way to go, i have it and no complaints, HD springs are also quite stiff but I like how it grabs a little harder then stock

I went with a tusk with HD springs and it was chit. I took it back apart and put my OEM springs back on, Now it grabs and dont take a chit ton to pull the clutch in.
The springs are a joke and do nothing but offer a stiff clutch lever. Yeah i could waste money on a ez pull lever, But that adds more pull of the lever and i have the same easy pull and grab as the next EX with out all the wasted money. Good luck either way

i thought the HD springs would give it a hard pull, but it ended up making my buddy's clutch easier.

i have herd good and horror stories about the tusk clutch. i guess you just hope you don't get one made on Friday. lol
