I just bought a 2003 vinson, love the bike, but it has a weird bearing growl sometimes out of the rearend. I have replaced the outer wheel bearings and have rode it without the brake caliper attached " not smart but gotta do what you gotta do" to try to find the noise. It does not do it all the time. mostly when sharp turn or some times when under a load. i think its the bearing behind the yoke,. has anyone seen this problem or have tore one apart. I dont have a service manual for it yet but i want to tear into it this week.
