View Full Version : acerbis rally-pro hand gard question

i got a set of acerbis hand gards for my b-day and they friggin things wont go on right. i cant fingure out what to do? the leavers are to long or something? is there like a dirt bike fromt master cyclinder i could get cause mine is kinda cracked anyway? does anyone have any pictures of how you instaled them? thanks alot for any help you can give me! later

just put a set on my 400 today. they sit right up against the master cyclender. i'll take a couple pix tomorrow and post them.

I think I know what you are talking about, try this: slide the clamps that go nearist to the stem out. this will make the guards push out. mine bolted right up to my 400... i didnt have to move anything...

I had to cut the front brake lever on mine but other than that they mounted up fine...:cool:

I think im gonna have to do the same thing rico. id rather have them short anyway so its a win win situation but i still want to see what you have dont desertratt. maybe i wont have to cut anything. thanks again guys! later...

welp i got them on! they look awesome! i got pissed off and tired of screwin around so i turned my air compressor on and hacked the ball on the leaver off and now they fit perfect! thanks for the help! later...

sweet i got some of those for my birthday also i had to take it to the shop it was to big of a mess me and my gf was going top put them on buit my handle bars where so bent it was almost no hope i thought i was going to get new handle bars but they manged to rig them on for me but they look goood ,,, i post a pic one day
