Motion Pro 01-0604 hrottle Cable

I have a 38mm PWK carb, and my old thottle cable was starting to show its age. I read that most people used the Motion Pro 01-0604 for most Keihin carbs, so I ordered it off Amazon.

It came today, but its different from my old cable, and I am not sure if it will work the the carb cap I have now. My old throttle cable threaded onto the cap, but the new Motion Pro is not threaded. Any ideas?

You will need the corrrect cap and threaded insert for the cap. You can order it from sudco on line or call them, its not real expensive at all.

Would it be easier to get the matching throttle cable instead of trying to hunt down the replacement cap?

Or does anyone have the part number for the cap I need?

Just call sudco and tell them what you have and what you need, 1-323-728-5407. I was looking for a complet cap set up and part # but it just shows everything seperate, but if you call and talk to them it is much easier because they will have it as a whole set up and give you a price on the spot. Sorry I couldnt find the whole set up part # for you.

The OEM cable had the carb cap integrated, but it doesn't fit a larger carb like a 38mm, so an aftermarket cable is a must. Every 38mm carb I have ever owned came with it's own cap, so the MotioPro 01-0604 is the only cable I've ever used. I didn't even know an aftermarket integrated-cap style even existed.

I'd love to have an integrated cap. Get me some info and I'll buy two tomorrow.
