A lil' skidplate help if you guys would!

I want to get a chassis skid. I'm sponsored by AC, but i don't really like how theirs comes up in the front by the bumper. or do they make one that doesn't do that. I love AC products and really want their skid. Should i buy it and just cut that part off or what? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I just bought the ac skid and I wasn't to thrilled about how it comes up in the fron when I ordered it but it doesn't look that bad on the quad.

hey i am sponsored by ac too. think of how much you will save getting it from them. when you get it you can cut it if thats what you want. but you should be saving alot. do you race in MI if so where at?

I personally like how that comes up in the front...why would you want to cut it off?

the last year or so i've been racing the MRA at milan cycle city. but this year i'll be racing more district 14 events and hopefully more nationals. i was only able to go to red bud last year.

I just don't really dig the way it comes up in the front, i don't think it will look all that good with a Duncan bumper. i just want it to wrap around that front part.

milan is my main track so that cool. when is the first race in district 14. and where do you live? do you ever dgo to silver lake? im goin first weekend in april

Here is a pic of a Duncan Bumper/AC Chassis Skid...if you ask me I think it looks fine, but if ya don't like it do like you said and cut it up front....

thats why i like ac skids, if you hit soemthing the skid takes all the damage and kinda slides over the debre like a sled sorta

i bought these from a guy out of north wales pa. they are .150" thick haven't had time to put them on yet he made me a good deal because they had scratches from the process of being made

desertratt45 - do you guys make a skid for the 400 that doesn't come up in the front. I really love your products, but i'm not really all that fond of that one part.

sorry, we dont make a shorter skid. what most people do if they dont what it to come in front is to cut it off then bend up the tip so it doent hook on any thing.
