Raptor 125 smoking

Here's the deal our rappy runs great but lately during a 45 minute race she's starting to smoke when he lets off of it only toward the end of the race or practice sessions could it be this thing is getting hot and blowing by valve seals any help would be great

Hi Bulldog222,

I believe that the smoke is from engine getting hot and oil getting past the rings. Does it have a 11:1 piston???? In most cases smoke when letting off the gas is rings. You can pull exhaust off and look to see if exhaust valve is wet from oil, if this is the case, then exhaust valve seal is leaking. If exhaust seal is leaking it will not hurt anything, extra oil to keep valve from sticking.

Leakage test would be a good place to start, check hot and cold.

This thing is stock with exception of fmf slip on pipe
So I'll check the things out you mentioned
