help with 450r swinger in 300ex

i am trying to put a 450r swinger with linkage in a 300ex. i made bracket to mount linkage to frame, but seems shock is binding have almost no movement at all?? Need some help

some pics would really help. Iv'e had a couple 300 ex's and have done a few mods swinger's 400ex front shocks.

I would think you'd need to see where you'r binding at. ( have a friend bounce it while u look,, use a ratchet strap connected to the grab bar and barring carrier to compress the rear to find bind spot)

check to see if the shock bolts,and or linkage bolts are to tight to allow free movement of the shocks and linkage.

( you only need to snug these bolts so there's no side to side play in the bolt. a little play will be fine.) check you'r swinger bolt the same. :) good luck and hope this helps.

I'm about to do this mod too..I read that you must use the 250r rear shock because the 450r shock is to tall and binds up
