I currently have a kfx 400 but I want to get more into racing mx. Do I go with the '07 z400 with a full sparx exhaust for $2300 or go with a 2005 blaster with works shocks, extended durablue a arm, axle, race plastics, DG front bumper, Nerf bar, pro taper bars, and wiseco 240 kit for $2000.

I had a Blaster with a bunch of stuff on it before I got my Z400 which I set up for MX.

My advice would be to keep your KFX and set that up for MX... Don't even bother buying the '07 Z as there really isn't a point. The KFX is years ahead of the Blaster in technology and would blow it away on an MX track. Instead of buying the Z400, take that $2300 and put it into your KFX.. You could have a very nice quad for MX if you did that.

If you're dead set on buying another quad then go with the Z400 out of the two. The 4stroke is easier to ride and you might feel cramped on a Blaster as they are quite a bit smaller.

I reckon you were going to use the money from your kfx to put on the new quad, you could build your kfx... but parts are high! z400 would be where its all at for mx. The blasters are cramped, slow, and just can't keep up.

I vote z400

I just found out where Im racing the classes go from 13-15yrs 91-300cc 4 stroke or 91-200cc 2 stroke and then theres 14-17 201-400cc but im only 13 so i figured go with the blaster for a year then upgrade to the Z.
