400ex wont shift

The other day when I was riding I had it in second gear and it wouldn't shift out of second gear until I finally got it out second into first, but now it wont shift out of first, the clutch will disengage and engage but when you pull up on the shifter it feels like theres nothing there. Does anyone have any ideas that would cause this?

Possible broken shift fork. Sounds like a engine tear down job!!!

Mine did that when the oil level was low. It wouldent shift from 1-2 with out problems. Come to find out it was 1/2 qt low and fixed the problem. Good luck either way

Possible broken shift fork. Sounds like a engine tear down job!!! Yeah, I think it has something to do with the gears, my idiot brother made me pull a brute force 750 with my 400ex so it probably messed up the gears. My dad will probably send it to a shop to be worked on
