picked up an 06 today in boxes
story was overheating after rebuild
it does have a new crank wiseco piston cylinder works cylinder
so i stuck it togather when i got home fired right up.
runs good wide open but has a big dead spot 1/4 throttle to 3/4 throttle and id pushging out a little water out the top radiator hose has the cheap clamp type clamps on it thou.
i just stuck togather to get a better idea of what i had before spending money.
things i noticed are
1 exhaust valve seemed stucxk closed i got it to open then seemed fine while head was off
has a pro com adfustable cdi.the dead spot is not carb related like its losing fire or something
water pump supposedly just rebuilt
what makes the yfz over heat or push water out?
i dont like procom stuff on outher quads are they jung on the yfz as well?
where to start what to check??
