I want to powdercoat my frame red. Can someone post pics of trans red or candy red please.

Here is a pic of Trans Candy Red that was done by Pappy. I haven't had a chance to shoot any of the Trans red, But I have shot some of the Trans Blue for my wife's Suzuki and I love the way the Trans colors look. Hope this helps. I have a couple other pics of trans red if you want to see them.

I love the trans red. as soon as I get my frame oven finished, I am doing my 69 mini50 in silver and trans red. Just like stock only better. I am shooting my 400 in smoked chrome, with prisim in the clear coat.

tommy got bright red. not trans candy red. BIG difference.

he got candy drop red. its not as bright as pics show.

trans red is a cool color. i probly shoot 100 pounds of that color a month:eek2:

its trans blue. but the pic is taken with some very good lighting. ive seen that quad ....very nice:cool:

ive been testing a few new powders that are supposed to be that same shade ...but they still need refinement. the company really wants it so it will be a single layer powder (me too:p ) im sure they will get it right sooner or later

Whom do you buy your powder from Pappy? I have found quit a few differant suppliers, but I am trying to get some refferances from people on who they like to deal with.

i buy powder from 4 suppliers. i use and work closely with columbia coatings for the majority of my specialty colors. hot coat is another .....same with morton and nics. there are 72 suppliers of powder in the USA.

do you guys think that walsh trans blue on blue fullbore with quad tech blue hoodwould look good or too much blue:confused:
