View Full Version : Squeaking from rear end?

I'm am not sure what it could be. I just changed my carrier bearings and they're lubed to hell and back. I oiled my chain (always do) but that wasn't it either. I don't think it's the brakes either..

shock linkage maybe or shock bushings????

Do you have a skid plate? If so maybe something is rubbing..

Nothing is rubbing and swingarm, all linkage and rear + front shock bearings replaced like a week ago lol

Mine started to make a squeaking/ real slight grinding noise. So I figured it was going to be carrier bearings so I went ahead and ordered those before tyaking anything apart.
I then took the carrier off the quad and both bearings were still tight :confused: After further inspection though, I popped off the seal on one of the bearings itself, and they were slightly rusty. Put it back together thinking I was good but I still got the damn squeak. I just a new rear caliper on so I guess it could be the brakes? I'm just not sure

Just replaced the bolt and bearings. It seems like it coming more from the back anyways

Does it squeak if you push down on the rear? or is it when the wheels are turning?
