Breaking stock chain.......

Just wondering what you guys do to add/take out links with OUT a chain breaker. I need to take about 3 links out of a chain and was looking for some ideas on how to do it. I am going to add a master link too of course......

i take a grinder to it, cut through it then lay it on teh vice and knock out the pins with a punch and a hammer
