Suggestion for piston/ cam

Looking to see if any of yall have suggestions on a good piston/cam combo. I have on 07 with hmf slip on, uni filter, and jet kit. I will be staying stock bore, just wanting to up the compression and get some more power. Would like to avoid having to upgrade valve springs and whatnot if possible. The quad is used for 100% trail riding if that makes any difference. Thanks for any help and suggestions!

I'd go with a wiseco 11:1 piston and a stage 2 hotcam. Thats a good combo. You may wanna go with a stage 1 cam for trails.. its more low end.. But I ride and race all trails and I like the low to mid power that the stage 2 produces. just my 2 cents man

Go with 11:1 with a stage 2 hot cam thatys what i have and its a nice strong motor. A stage 1 cam is useless in my opinion. If you want more torque just put a 14 tooth sprocket on it.

Does an 11:1 piston require race gas or will I be good on pump gas?

Pump gas is fine, read the stickey on high comp pistons a lot of useful info

Alright next question, where's the best place to order from? I believe im gonna go with the stage 2 hotcam and an 11:1 wiseco piston.

I know for sure Ebay the hotcam. Theyre like $110 or something.

Got my cam for $129.96 and the piston (87mm) for $146.49 from ebay.

Look for seller "apex racing" on ebay, I got all my stuff as have several others from him and have no complaints.

Jeffs a great guy, I have order tons of stuff from him. he also has excellent cust service- made good on a purchase I made that had an issue (wasnt a product problem he put the wrong pic up and made good on the item!).

Not trying to sell the guy, but he has the lowest prices and is an excellent seller to deal with.
