Different starting issue

I sometimes, this seems random, have to rock my fourwheeler back and forth in gear to get the starter to turn over otherwise the solenoid just clicks, stock motor I'm stumped

When mine started doing that it wasn't to long before the starter went south. Maybe some other's will chime and give some insight.

yep, your starter is going bad. By rocking the bike back and forth it is moving the starter gear which in return is allowing it to get past the bad spot and start.
