Ive got a chance to get a Lonestar axle, CHEAP. But as usual its rusty as ever. Is there a way to get rid of the rust?

Wire wheel in a drill or grinder will clean it up good. Then hit it with PC of paint.

if you send it to Lonestar i believe they will re chrome it for $60..then by next season it will be rusty again due to LSR's poor show chrome..but for the season it will look good! haha

Put it on a stand, pop it in 2nd and hold a piece of sandpaper around it then paint it up? I'd give it a try.

ya take the wheels and hubs off, put it in first or second and let it run while sanding or wire wheeling it, get everything off and you can probally even polish the bare metal and make it look good if you have have the time to do it.
