checking interest on a CR 85 motor

Anyone interested in a CR 85 motor? I have one that came with our mod & have been carting it around with us to the races but now we need to get some other things so I am willing to part with it. The only thing that is wrong is a crack where one of the bolts goes through the cases, no leaks or anything the previous owner ran the motor like this for a year without any issues.If you are interested let me know.

I looked @ them on EBAY and complete motors are going for about 600. I will let this go for $325 plus shipping.

What year motor? Is it stock or stroked or what has been done with it? If it was in a quad I imagine at least the port timing has been changed?

The motor comes as pictured & has been used in a CR85 Blaster mod.

Not sure Wade, I will look for some #'s on the motor & try to figure it out. I can bring it to Happy Ramblers next weekend if you want to check it out. It is our back-up motor, came with the mod when i bought it but next year we might be putting a 150 in the quad so I won't need it.

The # on the side by the gear shifter is HE04E then some more #'s so I would say it is an 04 if that's how you tell............Jeff

Do you have pipe cdi coil and any pic of the crack

The only pipe I have is the one I pictured in this thread, it was modified to use on a blaster mod, no silencer. The pic of the crack is pic 2 on the first page, it won't affect the motor. I am holding on to our extra electronics due to the fact we are still running a CR85 in our mod.........................Jeff
