Nevermind my post lol I thought you were talking about lugs :P Wheel nuts don't need torqued.

the nuts that hold the wheels to the hubs don't need to be torqued? so it's ok to hand tighten the nuts that hold your wheels on?...haha ok ill just hit it with the impact till they stop. I see to some that might have been a dumb question. i asked because in 1:1 vehicles if you over tighten you can damage the studs

The torque for the wheel lugs that hold the rim to the hub is 47 ft./lbs. There isn't a torque value for the hub nut. I wouldn't over tighten the nuts because if you do that a lot they will strip, especially with an impact.

Being a mechanic for quite a long time I can tell you that stripping out lug nuts only happens when you take a 1/2 impact and slam them home like an idiot. I do see this all the time.

But like I said before, my lug nuts on the quad are hand tight or should I say snug? They aint coming off tho.

If you're using an impact then just "snug" them up with the impact without hammering on them up too much. I wrecked a set of rims when I was younger doing that..
