Gearing is different for every track. I recommend getting rear sprockets from 45 through 50 and front sprockets 13 through 16. Also, gearing is dependent on skill of the rider. A fast rider that carries more speed through the corners needs a taller gear. It is really difficult to give a recomendation. We run every possible combination on our 50 from 13/46 (3.538) to 15/49 (3.267). On our 70, we have run up to 16/47 (2.938) with 16 in tires. Some people run even taller gear on 70s at the nationals.

Try starting around 14/46 and see how that pulls, where it tops out on the track, and how it suits your riders style. Adjust from there. Remember, one tooth on the front is a huge change on a single speed.
