Shock question

I know this is the 400 section but haven't gotten answer on mini section. I just bought my daughter a new shock for her trx 90. it is the right length, it says it is rated for a 60-80lb rider but it still seems a little stiff. It is Nitrogen Gas Charge. I was wondering what would happen if I let out just a pinch of the gas. It has a valve on it to charge it. It says it is rebuildable. Here is a pic of it. I know respringing would be the best but I dont have the money for that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Worst case scenario, you have to rebuild it anyway, let the gas out and see.

maybe not a good idea to let it out without using a preasure guage .to low of preasure and the shaft seal might start leaking and the service like of the oil will be shortened.i wouldnt go below a hundred pounds.the volume area for the nitogen is so small that the preasure could be gone fast
