need info on atv wars at va beach

MX style race on the beach in Virginia Beach VA. lasts the whole weekend May 2-4.

some crazy Aussie is supposed to be jumping the Va Beach pier this year :)

i'll try to keep y'all posted also. not sure who the sanctioning body is. last year they had classes for all riding abilities and ages.

Mix ATV racing on the beach just out the back doors of the hotel and many are probably packing already. The National Quad Racing Association, (Formerly the Mid-Atlantic ATV Association), Quadstar Productions and Randy Dinkins (2-time MAATVA Promoter of the Year) announces their 3rd annual VA Beach Race. ohhh this is aslo the same weekend as the Latin Music and Food Festival at the beach....quads, salsa music, beer....what more can ya ask for?

i went last year i had fun (it ws my 1st race ) i didn't even ride sunday man i was sore! i want to go this year ,but i'm not sure!

I'd like to go, but I work alot on the weekends. I know a guy who is going to go down there and drag race. Thats what I want to see, his quad is sick.

Alright guys and gals. Today I made some phone calls about the race at the beach. I talked to Randy Denkins the promotorand he told me this.
Registry:
Registry will be the day of the race and there is early registry too. Look in May's issue of Dirt Wheels for early registry. Prices to race are going to be $25 for Amateurs, $50 for Pro's, & $75 for Pro Comps. There is a $25 pit pass. An another $25 for membership to ATVRA. I believe that's the association I'm not quite sure.
Track:
I asked a little about the track too. There will be just single jumps no doubles and a few table tops. The biggest table top will be about a 60 footer. He wasn't quite sure on that. The track will be a little more than a mile long.
That's the info I have so far on it. Look forward to meeting some of the EXriders there.

i'll be there, not sure if i'm racing though. depends on how beat up i am from my vacation. some folks from AtvNC have expressed interest in racing, think i'll be housing them for the weekend :D
