Im trying to rejet my friends Z400.(He didnt like getting whipped by the new 416) We cut part of the airbox lid out,put in a UNI filter,And went to a 155 main.I dont know what brand jets they are.Didnt move the clip. And about 3 1/2 turns out on the air screw.Ran ok sitting still,But when he tried to ride it would bust out soon as he hit the throttle.Do i need to drop the clip one?Or turn the air screw out more?Kinda smelled rich.

Okay, what mods does he have on there now?? If its just a pipe and airfilter, his jetting should only need to go up one size on each jet. The air fuel screw should only have to come out like half a turn from where it was stock, if that, and on my 400ex i moved the clip down one notch. Try this and let me know how it worked.

Are dynojet numbers the same as regular jet numbers?
