My son was out playing around in the yard on his 426 and noticed oil was coming from somewhere and alerted me. After I looked into it, it appears that a bolt vibrated out and is missing. What exactly is that piece (see pic)? Right now I screwed one of the bolts from the heat shield into it to keep things out of it and keep the oil in it. Will any bolt work or is a speciality bolt I'll need to get from my local Honda dealer on Tuesday?

That is the cam chain tensioner. There should be a little bolt in there. http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/oem-schematic/2 You need #10 and #12 in that link.

Awesome, thanks! Does it matter how far I tighten it when I get it? It shouldn't, right? since it's pressurized by a spring?

Well that bolt is just a cover to keep oil from coming out i believe. They say 4 ft lb iirc for that. Someone else may be able to explain it better.

Its a small phillips head screw, it doesnt have to be super tight either. Theres also a gasket and or o-ring (i forget exactly which) that goes on it too.
