Hey Guys

Bill from Australia here, looking at having a custom quad built over in USA for my daughter to race one but was just wondering been doing some research on here and see they all seem to run a 450 setup on the front.

Is there options to go with to have eg a yz85 or rm85 in a frame similar in size to a 90cc yamaha/suzuki/honda quad.

Or are the little kids able to handle these pretty similar to a stock 90cc frame/setup

My daughter is 8 years old.

Thanks for the help

At her age, a modified from JB atv would be a good investment. He builds you a chromoly frame, swing arm, stem , a-arms. It comes set up to house your choice of engine. Go with RM85 or CR85. Then you can bolt on nerfs, 300ex axle, 450r rear brake system, 400ex or 450r front spindles / brakes. Uses TRX 90 plastic and seat. That quad would carry your kid to 15 yrs old or 150 lbs. Gonna cost you at least $9000 or $10000 USD. You get what you pay for, either spend all week wrenching, or spend all week having some Fosters. ;)
