my buddies 03 400ex is having some troubles. he texted me and told me he thinks it needs a bearing carrier and bearings. im like how come? he says only the right side wiggles. im like what when its on a stand? hes like no on the ground. im like wtf? how? he said youd just have to see it. ill try and get the pic up he sent me

only one side wiggles??? is the hub falling off??? or the rim is loose....??

If you mean just 1 side of the axle thats because only 1 bearing is bad. He might be able to just replace the bearings, but if he has rode it for any time at all with it being bad he will need a new carrier.

U would think it would be the left side to go first because the torque of the chain is on the left.

I think it's the wheel or the hub that's loose, or maybe the hub is stripped or some rediculous thing, this just doesn't sound right.

Put it up on a stand. Try and move the wheels, see if the wheel is moving-thus the hubs loose if it is. Axle moves you need bearings.

Buy a new carrier complete with bearings off ebay for 100, changing those bearing sucks without the special puller too.

i bet his hub is loose or half way striped out. i like how u just posted two pics of swingarms that show nothing hahaha :P
