that happened to a buddy of mine... it WAS bad news. he has a stage 2 hot cam. not only stripped the bolt, but also the threads on the cam gear. you cant replace that gear without buying a new hotcam. he decided (against my advice) to put the bolt in as tight as he could without it pulling free and spot welded it to the gear from the back side (engine side) of the bolt. he will have to grind the weld to take it all back apart if he has to. but he has been riding almost a year without any issues... so maybe he made the right decision. who knows... not sure I would have done it personally, but he accepted the risk.

Smooth it out a bit with some sand paper. The rocker does show a little wear-might be able to get away with it.

Bolts werent tightened enough possibly before you got to it and already semi-stripped. I use blue loctite on mine btw.

Replace your cam!

After i lost my cam sprocket about 2 rides later i dropped a valve to due the cam being bad from digging in the head.

Just make sure its in specs if your gonna reuse it.

I'm going with a stage two I just rebuilt over winter with a 11:1 high comp piston should be a nice set up when I get it back together I hear they complement each other well
