300ex cutting out

I have a 02 Honda 300ex thats cutting out and it just started doing it. and i dont know what from, i have checked the carb, cleaned it and looked at the jets its not the carb, and also its not my jetting because i checked it out, i also cleaned my fuel filter in the tank, i dont know but im thinking its my reverse inhibiotor. anybody had any problems with this?or know what to do?

check the needle in the carb. They are real bad about dropping. I usually set them in the middle and start there.

When they drop all the way out it sounds just like the rev limiter that you hit in reverse.

if it's not the needle and your sure the carb is good, I would say check the timing.
