Ok so I have been playing around thinking about a dream quad. And if money was unlimited i would like to build the lightest quad possible for TT purposes.
I thought an aluminum frame quad would be lighter than titanium since aluminum is lighter, but after reading the old LRD aluminum frames weigh about 31lbs. I found this picture of a titanium frame at only 17.6lbs. IDK what do you guys think?

Titanium for sure. Even though aluminum is technically lighter, you still need a decent amount of it get keep the strength you need. Since titanium is so much stronger than steel or aluminum, you can afford to use small tubing, and therefore less metal while keep the nessecary strength.

I know a guy that races pro ice racing and he built a rubber quad that weighs around 220 pounds, he used some nickel alloys in the frame for the flex factor, id pm pinitatv on here, he should be able to tell you what you want
