Another great night of racing at Oakland Valley Speedway on Friday Night, thank you to Superior Building and Remodeling (845.355.2378), our sponsor for the night!

The Pro Oval class had some intense racing...the top 3 were nose to tail the whole race. Danny Cross finally took the 2nd position from Richard Smith in the 12 lap and if there a few more laps, I think that he would have taken the win, but Milton Smith held him off to take the checkered flag. Great race, very exciting to watch! There were a total of 6 entries. The winner took home $102.00 and the total purse was $180.00!

Then in the Production TT class, the winner was Robert Gillespie took the win by a large margin, while the next 8 positions battled it out the whole race. Pat Mann took second while Milton Smith and Brian Demarmels took 3rd and 4th. There were a total of 14 entries. The winner took home $168.00 and the total purse in the class was $420.00!

In the Mini 90cc TT class, Carter Buff took the win from green to checker with Dylan Dworak and Melissa Torchio coming in 2nd and 3th.

Carter Buff again took the win in the Mini 70cc TT class from Dylan Dworak who was leading the whole race until the last lap, I think Dylan had a little trouble on the last lap. Maverick Ebert came in 2nd, Dylan Dworak came in 3rd and Christopher Dul came in 4th.

In the Mini 50cc TT class, Kenny Phillips took the win from green to checker with Taylor Jennings in 2nd position.

The Pro/Am class was won by Andrew Evanyke from green to checker after Eric Jennings and Justin Frindt got together a little bit in the first turn onto the TT track. Eric made a huge recovery catching back up to Justin Frindt to finish in second. There was a total of 3 entries and Andrew took home $90.

The Open TT class went to Robert Gillespie, followed by Pat Mann and then Brian Garvilla. George Miller also raced with this class in the Air Cooled division.

The Pro class win went to Eric Jennings followed by Justin Frindt and Andrew Evanyke who was out there on someone quad because of problems with his own. The winner of the pro class took home $180!

The winner of the Mini 70cc Oval class went to Christopher Dul followed by Dylan Dworak. Melissa Torchio won on her Mini 90cc!

Arthur Palmer took the win from green to checker in the Open Oval class. Meranda Palmer returned to the feature to finish 2nd after an accident in her qualifying event, she was a little sore when she left last night. Hopefully she is feeling better! Jon Bosma finished in 3rd and Stephen Drobner and Rick Weisheit, Jr. didn’t make the main due to the accident in their qualifying. Everyone was okay though.
