I work out of town and didn't have a oppertunity last weekend to really clean my R. The mud has somewhat stained my engine. What can I use to make it look like new again?

There has to be some kind of acid wash I could use to get rid of some of the discoloration. What do you guys suggest?

thanks

eagle one brand mag wheel cleaner. get it at oreillys or auto zone. this stiff is the shiz nitz. its not as strong a aluminum brite, but is stronger than a normal degreaser.

wallyworld dont carry it.

I will give it a try...I am assuming it doesn't hurt if you get overspray or whatever on rubber or plastic?

nope, i wouold have a rag with wd40 on it to wipe it back down after you do this so it wont oxidize really fast. i do this to mine after every race reguardless of how muddy or dirty it got. makes the engine look like new money. if you dont spray or wipe it down with wd40 it will look oxidized the next day.
