I just took my 2001 honda 426ex out of storage and it would not start..I had ran the motor with the gas off to clear the carb and I think something happen when I did that....I took it apart and cleaned it.....

I got the motor running but only at half to full throttle
Does anyone have an idea of whats up???? or where to get it fixed or parts diagram....they do not make these anymore....tried to get ahold of edelbrock but its impossible...thanks looking to sell the bike also

Sounds like the pilot jet is stopped up. Did you clean the jets real good. I'd say if you had it in storage a peice of trash is stuck in one of the holes.

Its an Edelbrock Doug Esiner signature carb...really sweet....I bought a used $60 stock carb and put it on for now and she runs fine...I did clean it well but they says there are no jets in the carb...only a adjustable needle with clicker from the top..I did not see any jets when I took the bowl off??????....My bike kills the woods.also.....
