350x Head On 250x?????

I JUST RECENTLY BOUGHT A 350X MOTOR WITHA BLOWN TRANSMISSION AND WAS WONDERING WOULD THE 350X CRANK, CYLINDER, AND HEAD WOULD FIT IN THE 250X MOTOR.....REPLIE ASAP!!!!! I WANT TO GO RIDING AND THE 250X HAS A BAD CAM:-(

hahaha gee i wonder, the 350 has 4 vavles, the 250 has 2, hmm maybe if they 300ex and 250x wheren't the same maybe that'd fit, :rolleyes:

i dunno where u got the 2 vavles from???? but the 250x has 4 vavles and you might be able to fit the 350x head onto the 250x engine try it once and see if everything looks like it will work and make sure nothing is hitting and so forth

yeah curtis sparks use to do it all the time....it will bolt right up...i think all thats involved is a different headpipe? since the 350x is dual...

dude...the 300ex has a 2 valve head!!!
a 350 head wouldnt work i dont think..maybe you could use the entire top end w/ cylinder but then you would probably have a timing chain issue.

ok all of u that are sayin the 250x's have 2 valves ur wrong the 300ex and 250x both have 4 valves if u want i will post a pic if u dont believe me.........

Both the 300ex and 250x have 4 valves smotpoker......lol.

350x head will not work.You need hte 300ex head for things to work.

i have heard of people using the 350x bottom end and putting a 250x head on it but im not sure if you can use the 250x bottom end and use the 350x top end. i would say try it and find out if everything seems fine try it out once see how it works im sure every one would like to know.

this is interesting...i wonder if you can fit the 350x topend on my bottom end. when someone figures it out i might have to try that.....

there ARE only two rocker arms on the 250X, maybe that's where the confusion comes from.:huh

yea each rocker arm touches both intakes and both exhausts..........

I bet Powroll could tell you, they have been doing 4-strokes since 1964. the number is at www.powroll.com they're good people to talk to and probly have an answer.
