you can find the wrist pin and circlip on ebay.

how much did you end up paying for the motor?

I have a complete running 440 motor with some extras i wanna maybe try to sell.

Well, it sounds like a high priced deal.

But, if it actually does have a valve job with porting and the 440 isnt trashed.

A port and polish should cost you $250-$350 and the valve job anywhere from $300-$500, a cylinder head could cost anywhere from $100-$500, a NEW cylinder with a 440 ready to bolt on and ride can be had for $350.

So you actually got a good deal if everything is in ok condition.

If someone offered me some +1 or +2 valves with all the work done including a port and polish for $500 Id be willing to do it.

I think you may be able to run 93 without any issues, get some sunoco race gas and have it on hand when you put everything together just incase 93 doesnt work out.

Not trying to call you out or anything, but wiseco doesnt make a 11.5:1 piston.

Must have been some type of info getting mixed up there.

Thanks johndoe83, dxcody how can I tell what compression the piston is since they dont make an 11:5:1 I hope I won't have to buy a new piston

I was talking to TC racing and he said in these motors over sized valves don't make a difference. For the money spent and little gained is not worth it. Im not sure what other motor builders think. I like to see actual dyno results. The old 440ex we had ran its arse off.... kept right with a RM 250 dirtbike. guy was surprised and that was with stock valves.

All I know is my 440 with a stage 2 cam and a 450r carb with bigger valves was smoking high compression piped and ported 450r's on the drag strip and 300ft dirt track.

And I have no porting.

Before the valves it wasnt that fast.

Im just saying.....:chinese:
