What's the trick to removing the reed cage screws without completely removing the entire engine?

The screw heads are just about completely stripped.

When they get that bad, I have to use a chisle and work them loose.
Altho possible, it may be a lil harder with the motor still in the frame. :(

I replace with hex head bolts.

Good luck. :)

That's the whole deal, I'm trying to do this without removing the whole engine.

LOL
So get a hammer and chisle and work on them.
I said it'll be a lil harder, not impossible. :)
Whack a notch in the side of the bolt head and then move the chisle to an angle and whack the notch in the direction that would loosen the bolt.
I'm sure you'll get them out. :)

Thanks LT80, I'll give that a try.
