I let him wash his apex I covered the air filter with a bag. Somehow he got water in the bag and motor. Took a hour of kicking to figure it out. He washed it a month ago and I put it up. How long you think crank is gonna last now that it has rust on it? It's drying out now I hope it'll start tomorrow

water is an instant killer of a 2 stroke motor best bet is to take it apart and save on more damage

Already bought a stroker crank. Gonna get piston. I think kid sprayed it in threw exhaust

I use a Yamaha YFZ450 front rubber hub cover and put it on the carb to keep water out!!! Works great!!!

Here's the kicker. I got it running took it for the weekend trip been planned for 3 months and he sank it in the river. Water went right in the carb. Good thing I didnt rebuild it. I'll try the runner trick.
