I Have an 08' 400ex and I was putting on my new hand guards today and when I finished for some reason the brake lights stayes on now. I checked the switch with a multimeter and the switch is good. I went under the hood an disconnected the next plug in line and checked it there. It is still good, but when checking the harness on the engine side it has a short in it. Are there any known places in the harness I should check first before tearing the whole thing apart to find the short in the wires.
