I just finished my laeger 250r rolling chasis, n I put shocks on. N seems like rear shock isn't doing much, u can only flex it like 3-4 inches n when u lift on grabbar tires come off ground with quad. Anyone have a good pic of 500 link shock set up. I don't think I messed anything up

Did u remember to put the 2 spacers on the sides of the lower shock mount ? They go on each side of the Lower eye

Sounds like maybe the bearings are bad in the linkage? My buddys walsh was doing the exact same thing we would lift the grab bar and it would move like 2 or 3 inches and when we pushed it down would do the same... and when I took it apart to rebuild it all the needle bearings were rusted together. There is no way to lube after assembly sadly no zerks or anything :/

Where would u find bearings for the 500 linkage?

from a company that sells bearings for the cr500.

it all depends on what year.

but you could take it to a local bearing house and get ones cheaper and faster unless its some specialty item.

Here is a linkage rebuild kit for you, idk if there are better ones I just found this one quick. Im pretty sure this is what I used.

If you do have to rebuild it most of the bearings can just be pressed out easily but there is one with a step on the inside so be careful. And make sure to grease everything good cause like I was saying once its together there is no way to lube it.

My linkage doesn't bind and there isn't any spacers in it. The clevis on the shock actually just barely rubs the linkage.
