2008 trx450r kicker?

my buddy just got a 2008 trx450r kick start bike used from one of his friends, he has had so many 450rs ive lost track, he knows everything about them. He told me that bike is very very rare and that it was a factory kick start and there wasnt many made. is this true? im just curious

they are much harder to get for sure. When my friend work at a honda dealer, he said most of the ones were electric start and kickers had to be ordered. No it was not a factory option, there is 2 models, trx450r and trx450er.

They are definitely not common to come from the factory with the kickstart. But there were a few made.

i have both a 05 trx450r and 06 450er, he told me there was only like 10 made, i think he was just being stupid when he said that though.

I've seen 2 kickers that I know for sure were 08's. I wanted one for a long time but I settled for a 05.

I have a 06 and a 09 kicker both ordered from honda tha way. There are quite a few at the worcs races 06 and up kickers not comon bot I would bet alot more then 10.

they made way more than 10 of them. I've seen plenty of 08 kickers. People just don't prefer them so not many sold unless it was racers or people who like the kickers.

There are more 04/05 kickers because they did not make an E start for those years. THey have made a kicker for the 06/07 and the 08 450's though.
