Here's some new pic's, I got the gearing right with the 18in tire's and fixed my kick starter.

The vibration wasnt that bad at first, but now Im starting to think it's a lil bit annoying and kinda noticeable. I lost a few bolts on some test ride's and had to re-tighten alot of stuff, Just gotta re-do everything with loctite before I actually go race it.

Still running cool temps with the small radiator, everything seem's to be ruuning perfectly and really impresses me everytime I ride it.

This thing haul's way faster with 18in tire's then the EX ever did with 22's, I havent even topped out 5th or 4th yet beacause it's so fast. It's gonna be real interesting to see what track time's it can put down.

Heres the pics.

That's badass man. What motor did you drop in there. I would like to see one with an ole CR 500 in it!

Thanks guys!

Its a 98 cr250r motor stock is said to be between 42-46hp.

I really wanted to do a cr500, I was waiting for a good deal to roll around for either the 250 or the 500. I said I would buy whichever one came first and the 250 was it...:D

I wanna see what this can do with a MX setup!!!

Here's a link to the build thread.

That's the problem with those 2 stroke dirt bike engines is vibration because there is no counter balancer in them. The only big 2 stroke engine with a counter balancer that I know of is the Suzuki 500cc LT500 Quadzilla motor, but they are big money! One of my cousins is a Suzuki guy, sorry fella!!!! But that's how I know.

Wonder if you could rig up some kinda rubber motor mount add ons to help with the vibration?

JUst me , But i think he could have made the ex motor faster. but thats just me.

If you get a chance get it to the track and let us know what it runs.

the 426 that we build is running 7.55 @ 82mph and that is all motor, no nos.

The bike was 348lbs ready to ride now it is 278lbs ready to ride.

Good luck with the bike john hope it does well for you.

Ps put a override transmission in it if all your going to do is drag race it... if your going to woods ride it leave it stock.

You don't think that if he bores and or strokes the 250 it will be faster than a 440ex? Lots of power to be had in porting alone..

That said, your times on the EX are very impressive. I'm not a drag racer, just curious :)

Ya Ive been thinking about what to do, Im thinking of having some beefy solid mounts made instead of having spacers. Or possibly trying the rubber mounts.

Well Im around 260lbs now and right at 45 HP "maybe more with the pipe" and thats stock motor. Thats with all my extra weight still on the chassis.

I wanna run it for times the way it is, If it does real good like low 8s or high 7s Im gonna turn it into a drag ported, high comp 300cc and start buying a lighter axle and swinger with some ultralight a arms.

I want a overide but I think a small battery with a airshifter would be better for reliability in the long run.

The air shifter is for people that cant ride the bike them self..... Im just saying. Any one can get on a bike and hold the gas open. It takes a real rider to ride it them self and shift the bike when it needs to be shift...... But to each his or her owne....

Ya but the overide trans is the same thing....

Atleast with the airshifter your not worried about down shifting and blowing out a gear.

Your just mad that I took the EX motor out of it... :blah:

Wanna buy a 440 with valves and 450r carb complete with exhaust?

If you need some bigger tires to play with my scorchers with blue lables are on ebay right now for $150 with free shipping.
