I have 02 trx90 with a big gun exhaust, 114cc bore and a unifilter for intake. My son races XC and we are having a issue with a bog/dies after he lets off the gas and goes to hit the throttle again. I am thinking might need a bigger carb but don't know. Also is their a kick start kit you can put on these instead of a pull start? Tired of breaking ropes.

Any recomendations on a different carb other than stock?

If you have an intake that will accept a new boot that will allow for a 26mm Kehinin PE. Thats the most popular. Mine on our 125 kit is a 26mm Mikuni. CHP is a place to buy stuff.

Rejet stock carb or go for a XR80 or XR100 carb. The XR carbs will bolt right up and still fit in the air box boot. If you go with the XR carb, you'll need to do a little port work to the stock intake. Still will need to spend some time jetting either carb to get a perfect mixture

Mikuni VM26 is a good option but retaining stock air box is a pain

Paul, I think we run the XR100 carb. But if your running the stock carb with that 114cc kit, Its more than likely your issue.
