If you're getting another s/o go for the motoworks..

But I have been happy my full BG system, had it since '05 :)

HMF. No competition in that list.

I don't think there would be a significant difference between any of the reputable named companies.. Go with what you can find for the best deal. Not a fan of the lexx though..

I'd prolly go with HMF or Motoworks. What exactly is wrong with your Big Gun again? How is it shot?

Lexx MXe

Positives:

1. $150 on Ebay
2. Easily tuned to be insanely loud or quiet
3. Easily serviced, no rivets like some
4. Knock off of a Yoshimura design
5. Good mid-range gains (with re-jet of course!)
6. Good sound regardless of tip being used.

Negatives:

1. Mounting to header. However, this is easily solved with a $8 "T-Clamp"

Curtis Sparks is my first pick then HMF full system. I also know of a company that will have some 400EX DASA shortly too.

Motoworks is best pipe for the money right now :D http://www.motoworks.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21_60_26_45&products_id=28

LOL, that's exactly what happened to my 1st Big Gun pipe, then I traded it back to them for a new one and 3 or 4 years later it did it again and I had to do the same thing. And now after the 3rd pipe it's already starting to break the mount, and it's not even 4 months old. Big Gun had the ****tiest R&D department I know of. Brandon, it isn't just the Eco version, they're all like that.

Motoworks really is the best deal for the money right now. It's held up to tons of abuse, looks new and sounds great. $200 for the Aluminum or you can go big for like $330 and get the full Carbon exhaust.

Supertrapp xd race slip on and an FMF Powerbomb header.Seems like a pretty good combo so far and has held up great.

TC Shorty FTW!!! By far the loudest slip-on I have ever heard on a 400EX. Other then my custom shorty HMF slip-on I am running at the moment.

Trinity. I mean I love my Motoworks and its by far the best pipe for the money but for some reason I always liked Trinity pipes. So if Motoworks is out of the question Trinity gets my vote. Or CT Racing.
