Anyone on here know if there is a 24v system or a quicker way to fire the LTR up for dead engine (GNCC) starts? A lot of the zuki guys are left cranking on the line while the carbed bikes are grabbing the holeshot.

i do know of some one that is using 2 12v battery's . its not that hard to do ,thing is theres no way to charge #2 battery. not that its necessary because that can be done when not riding . still i do not recamend doing the 24v trick

Something I found out is the way the engine is shut down, makes a HUGE difference in the way it starts.

If I turn mine off with the key or blob switch, it doesn't start right up. BUT, if I kill it with the tether, it fires right up.

Figure out what yours likes.

There is an ultra light weight Li-poly batter, or Li-ion not sure, but it has several times more cold cranking power. they are 160$ or so but only weigh like 1-2 lbs, i have always run them and they work.
