how to post pics??? I can`t,plz help

I can`t figure out how to post jpg pics on here,taken with my phone and transfered via memory card to my laptop......I just can`t get it figured out for some reason,help plz

upload them to a host site (such as photobucket) then just copy the photo tag and paste it.
