Anyone know of a free easy way to convert GOPRO vid

Well I recorded some gopro footage today from my race and went to upload it to youtube and they didnt support the MP4 quicktime format the video is in. So it suggested i convert to another type of vid. Anyone know of a free and easy way for me to be able to convert to put on youtube
