I bought new stock rings and well they don't fit they are to thick to fit in the slot. On my piston it has hp1 on the top. Any clue what brand this might be

Not sure what brand it is, but we had this happen before too.

Take a picture of it. Make sure you get all the carbon off of it first.

factory honda piston my old piston says same thing
