American star or Houser a-arms??

I was thinking about getting american star a-arms instead of houser if i get a 400ex. Is this a good choice. The only reason i'm considering the american star is because they have heim joints instead of ball joints abd they are $100 cheaper. They also have a lifetime structure warranty. Thanx

American star put a disclaimer on a website that said this product not for racing.. Personally I would just spring the extra cash and get a product that will be much more stable.

I would wait until you actually have the quad before you start stressing out on what you "might" put on it.

I just got my American Stars tonite and they look pretty beefy. Better than I thought. I will know better when I get them installed but since I don't race I figured I would give them a try. Not bad for $399.

american stars look weak and they must be if they even say on their site that their not for racing!! also american star used to be a really shady company, i don't know if they've cleaned up their act now tho. i'd spend the extra money on houser or else find a different company thats cheaper but i would never buy from american star.

yea juggs is right.....they always have been a shady company. With there little disclaimer and stuff. Id just save for the housers.

u could look into burgard or jd a-arms... they are also very cheap and good companies... i know thats what i'll be gettin when i do is burgard... can't beat them for a average weekend warrior teenager...

American Star is the same company as Last Rebel Racing. Last Rebel was infamous for screwing people over, doing shady deals, poor products, etc. I try to steer everyone away from American Star.

Houser all the way. I also agree with Tommy about getting Burgard or JD.

I have set of TBR Products A-arms and will attest they are awesme. I wiped out at 45+ mph and the quad cartwheeled tire to tire bolwing two off the beads and when I checked, the arms didn't show any signs of stress or cracking. They are @ tbrproducts.com
