Well, after 3-4 months of building, the trailer and new storage box is finally complete. :D I am so tired of working on this thing, spending less time here and even less time riding. It features: tube construction, folding rear gate, tire storage comparment, special tie down points, removable rails, and can hold 3-4 quads. Here are some pics:

Great job on the trailer; any reason you didn't go double axle? I know they are less prone to swaying & you can drive faster:D

Nice!! That is a sweet gear box you built up front. Looks like it can hold anything you might need.

Thanks for the compliments. I went with a single because I have to push the trailer around by hand to get in the back yard. That is also why I built it myself and took the tires into the storage area. I wanted max width to fit beside my house. It was way too much work!

You're a big tough guy, you coulda just swung that double around any ol way you wanted, lol. The storage compartment looks schweet. We were thinking of mounting a diamond plate truck box to our 16' double. Now it's time to ride... have fun.

Thanks Chickenhawk. Goochy on here, use to have a tool box like your're talking about on his old open trailer. He mounted it on the rails and had lockable tire storage underneath. It was sweet, and the "full bed depth" tool box gave really good storage for him. You won't be sorry if you go that route.
